Today, April 18th, is the third anniversary of this here blog. And with it comes a full blog redesign! Lord knows that it was well past being due.
For the brand spanking new logo, I’m enormously indebted to Marcus R. Gregory. He created the banner, was incredibly lovely and patient with me through the process, and most notably of all donated his time and talents free of charge. I’m incredibly grateful to him, and if you’d like to contact him about some actual paid work, he can be reached at firstname.lastname@example.org.
As for the rest of the new look, there are still some minor tweaks to be made, but it’s mostly complete. I hope you like it! That said, if anything isn’t working as it should, please let me know. Far more importantly, if there are any accessibility problems that are making the blog more difficult for you to read, please do say something. I can’t promise to comply with every single request regarding accessibility, owing both to my extraordinarily limited CSS skills and the necessarily conflicting nature of accessibility requests (i.e. something making the site more accessible to one person can make it less accessible to another). But I can promise to take all such requests seriously, and to do my best. If you don’t feel comfortable, for whatever reason, voicing accessibility concerns in the comments, please feel free to contact me privately at cara.kulwicki AT gmail DOT com.
And lastly, of course, a big thanks to all you wonderful readers out there! From those who have been reading along since the beginning, to those who have joined more recently, I’m hugely appreciative that you take the time of your life to read what I have to say. Thanks again.
